Green beans can be bland or they can be a flavor packed experience. These green beans are the latter. The fresh green beans come together really fast on a sheet pan in the oven after adding a few simple ingredients. It is a staple dish in our home.

The seasoning is simple but not in conservative amounts. The ingredients combined with the char given to the green beans and onions really creates a flavor punch. You basically add minced garlic, lots of black pepper, salt, sliced onion, and olive oil to the greens beans in a sheet. Afterwards, they are place in the oven on broil to give it some color and the right amount of char to create texture. The onions caramelize to add another dimension of flavor. I run to this recipe when I need something quick but tasty to add to a meal. You should definitely add this to your recipe rolodex.
